Nuclear engineer, Former Member of Parliament, head of the Dutch Labour Party and Head of Cabinet of European Vice President Timmermans. Diederik Samsom is the principal architect of the European Green Deal and RepowerEU and, as such, the expert on the European Hydrogen strategy, its regulations and financing schemes, as well as the political and diplomatic efforts to strengthen EU - Mediterranean cooperation.
