Dii Desert, an independent international industry network, has published a presentation titled “Al-Tour The Mega Liquid Hydrogen Project.” The initiative produces studies and reports on emerging energy-transition topics. Its network across the Middle East and North Africa connects people, countries and clean-energy markets in pursuit of safe, affordable and “net-zero” energy from desert regions.

“Green Tech Egypt has begun developing a world-leading green liquid hydrogen production plant.”
“The project’s investments are estimated at approximately $17 billion, and will be implemented in three phases. The first phase is scheduled to become operational in 2030, with a yearly production capacity of 160,000 tons of liquid hydrogen.”
The presentation also addresses project challenges, how they were resolved and overcome, and the planned transport of hydrogen to its final destination for use.
