Hurghada Recycling Plant by Green Tech Egypt

On 25 January 2019, Governor of Red Sea General Ahmed Abdullah and Dr Ezz EL-Din Abu Steit, Minister of Agriculture, opened the Hurghada Recycling factory. General Abdullah mentioned that the new recycling factory is the first in Egypt to use new recycling technology compatible with European standards. All machines are imported from the Netherlands and Germany using the latest European recycling technology. The plant will be managed by HEPCA, The Hurghada Environmental Protection and Conservation Association. Green Tech Egypt designed, built, and delivered the factory. General Abdullah added that the new factory is a significant move forward in the environmental sector and Hurghada because it can process 400 tons of MSW and provide jobs for 62 people.
